FPT suggests building English-speaking city to Da Nang People's Committee Chairm

On February 7, Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho Danang visited and conveyed Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to Tet FPT employees at FPT Complex building.

The delegation was welcomed by Vice Chairman FPT University Nguyen Thanh Nam, FPT IS CEO Pham Minh Tuan, General Director of FPT City Bui Thien Canh, Region 4 Director of FPT Telecom Nguyen The Quang, Director of FPT Software Da Nang Nguyen Tuan Phuong and some other managers. FPT's representatives announce the shortlist for the outstanding achievements by FPT in Da Nang in the field of technology, telecommunications, education etc.

In particular, the representatives expect more support in developing high-quality human resources.

"Education is important in promoting other sectors. Besides, FPT IS, FPT Telecom and FPT Software are also committed to creating new value ", said Bui Thien Canh.

Vice Chairman of FPT University cum FUNiX Rector Nguyen Thanh Nam hoped that Da Nang would become HR training center in the country and the region. Mr. Nam added that FPT University was attaching special importance to HR training in the field of IT and tourism.

FUNiX Rector Nguyen Thanh Nam also proposed that Da Nang should build the English-speaking city. FPT University was willing to give support via international training system, particularly the FPT International Student Exchange Center (FISEC), FPT University.  FISEC is responsible for developing the short-course programs for international and FPT University’s students.

Mr. Tho appreciated FPT’s outstanding achievements and promised that all of its requirements would be considered.
