FPT Telecom International collaborates with Palo Alto Networks to host a Cyber Security Workshop

On April 9, in Hanoi, FPT International Telecommunications Company Limited (FPT Telecom International - FTI) and Palo Alto Networks co-hosted the event "Exceptional Network Security by FTI and Palo Alto Networks."
The conference aims to offer businesses comprehensive solutions for preventing cyber and data attacks. It also signifies an important milestone in the collaborative relationship between the two entities.
Recently, there has been a surge in data encryption attacks, posing significant concerns for organizations and businesses in Vietnam, particularly those operating in the fields of securities, energy, telecommunications, and healthcare.
According to cybersecurity experts, in addition to conducting vulnerability assessments and enhancing the adoption of technological solutions, large-scale businesses and organizations must also establish dedicated teams of network security specialists to safeguard their network systems.
Recognizing the pressing need among businesses, FTI partnered with Palo Alto Networks to host the event "Exceptional Network Security by FTI and Palo Alto Networks." This event provided businesses with a comprehensive understanding of solutions to effectively prevent network and data attacks.
Representing FTI were Mr. Tran Hai Duong - Chairman and CEO; Mr. Tran Van Cuong - Branch Director; Mr. Dao Van Khang - Director of Cyber Security Service Center; and Mr. Tran Hong Quan - Deputy Director of Cyber Security Service Center.
On the side of Palo Alto Networks Vietnam, attendees included Mr. Hoang Quang Huy - CEO; Mr. Doan Quang Hoa - Chief Technology Officer; Mr. Vu Duc Thanh - Project Director for Financial and Securities Customers; and Mr. Do Thanh Chung - Project Director for Telecommunication and Large Enterprises.
The conference also attracted numerous solution experts and senior leaders from various banking, securities, insurance, and finance companies.

According to Mr. Tran Hai Duong, Chairman and CEO of FTI, statistics reveal that investing in separate and overlapping security tools over time has posed significant challenges due to the lack of continuity, resulting in a sluggish incident response.
Hence, FTI's proactive collaboration with Palo Alto Networks holds significant meaning in bolstering business network security and swiftly addressing network security attacks. "The concerted efforts and determination of both parties to promptly handle and resolve incidents using platformized security tools are anticipated to mitigate cyber attacks, enabling businesses to pursue a secure, methodical, and long-term investment roadmap," Mr. Duong remarked.
