FPT Telecom Launches A Pair of "Made In Vietnam" Cloud Camera

FPT Telecom has recently launched two new "Made in Vietnam" security cameras: the IQ 3S, which features an integrated searchlight and siren, and the Play 3, which offers 0-355 degree horizontal rotation and LED night vision lights. Both models meet international standards for data security and safety.

The Ministry of Information and Communications recently issued new information security criteria for surveillance cameras, drawing attention to an alarming issue: over 95% of surveillance cameras in Vietnam are imported, primarily from China (according to 2021 statistics from B&Company). These devices often have software protocols and connection codes that communicate with overseas servers, creating a risk of being infiltrated with malicious code and spyware, which can severely compromise safety and information security.

In response, FPT Telecom has introduced two "Made in Vietnam" security cameras: the IQ 3S and the Play 3. The company emphasized that the entire manufacturing process takes place in Vietnam and adheres to international data security standards. Both camera models are critical products in FTP Life, FPT Telecom's smart technology ecosystem.

FPT's Camera IQ 3S

The device is ideal for both home and business use, offering a 3-megapixel resolution for sharper images. Compared to the previous generation (IQ3), the IQ 3S series includes a floodlight and siren, with infrared capabilities that allow visibility up to 30 meters in low-light conditions. These features enhance security, as the siren activates to scare off intruders when detected.

The company has equipped the camera with IP67 water and dust resistance to meet outdoor requirements. Its design features highly durable materials that withstand harsh weather conditions, including sun, rain, and storms.

Camera IQ 3S series

FPT's Camera Play 3

The Play 3 camera is an upgraded version of the Play camera line, first launched in 2023. Like the IQ 3S, it features a 3-megapixel resolution for sharp, realistic images. Its compact design allows for 10-50 degree vertical rotation and 0-355 degree horizontal scanning, ensuring comprehensive coverage and minimizing blind spots.

The Play 3 camera, equipped with colorless LED lights, prevents glare in dimly lit areas. The product supports Wi-Fi connectivity and features a wireless design, allowing for flexible installation and easy relocation to any desired location.

In addition to new upgrades, FPT Camera's two new products also inherit the strengths of the previous generation of AI cloud cameras. For instance, the FPT Camera Cloud service, supported by a Tier III international standard Data Center in Vietnam, enables real-time online camera viewing with virtually zero latency. This storage method also enhances data safety and security for users.

The device is equipped with AI-integrated smart warning capabilities for human detection. It distinguishes between human movements and those of vehicles, dogs, cats, or leaves, ensuring precise notifications and reducing false alarms. The Warning Area feature lets users define specific alert zones and receive image-based notifications, enabling quick responses and clear situational understanding.

Additionally, the camera can be set to monitor specific areas like the garden, door, or living room. Individuals can remotely communicate directly with household members through the device using the two-way conversation feature.
