On 11/11/2016, at Asia Pacific Telecom Summit Awards - ATSA held in Singapore, FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) has become the first and only company in Vietnam to receive the title of honor Digital Transformer of the year.
Hosted by the multi-national group - International Data Corporation (IDC), this event is one of the activities of the Asia Pacific Telecom Summit 2016 that lasted for two days - 10 and 11/11/2016 in Singapore.
Digital Transformer of the Year is one of the five honored titles to be awarded at ATSA aiming to appraise and honor the preparatory work of FPT Telecom in providing telecom services during the competitive process of global integration, especially, the ability to gain a head start in market to commercialize telecom services.
At the awarding event, Mr. Hoang Trung Kien - Vice Director of FPT Telecom said: “We are proud for being a first company in Vietnam to receive this prize. Digital Transformer of the year is our honor in continuously changing, launching new product and service to provide the best things for our customers. More than that, FPT Telecom is also the organization leading the mobile service, technology and digital in Vietnam market. It's also an evidence of our effort in 20 years to connect and support the quality of consumers’ lives and mentalities”.
ATSA 2016 awarded in 5 main categories included: Digital Service Provider of the Year, Digital Transformer of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service, Best Telco-OTT Partnership of the Year and Most Disruptive Business Model.
As a result of that, ATSA will recognize the exertion and achievement of those companies, including: implementing of competitive classification; inventing new products and services; expanding access to the potential markets.

At the event in 2015, many region's excellent organizations was also awarded: Tata Sky in India (Best Video Offering), Bharti Airtel in Indian (Country Innovation Award), Telstra Australia (Most Innovative Consumer Offering), NTT come from Japan (Most Innovative Enterprise Offering) and Singtel from Singapore (Service Provider of the Future).
