FPT Telecom sees tremendous growth in FTTH

The impressive growth in FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) is seen due to little difference in price between FTTH and ADSL services. In 2015, FPT Telecom has had the resurgence of growth in terms of subscribers

In April, there were 210,000 new subscribers. By April 2016, this figure was up to 4.5 million, a 21-fold increase just during 3 years.

In 2014, FPT Telecom accounted for only 6% market share. In 2015, this figure was 25.4%. With the subscriber growth of up to 1,900%, the market share of FTTH subscribers increased by more than 4 times. The similar number of VNPT and Viettel was 441% increase 314%.

Comparing the other technologies in use today, FTTH is the far superior choice in Vietnam. Theesse impressive figures showed that technoloy is becoming widespread.
