FPT Telecom showcase most advanced products/services at Vietnam ICT Comm 2017

At the International Exhibition on Telecommunications Products and Services – Information and Communication Technology (Vietnam ICT Comm 2017), FPT Telecom showcased its 1Gbps Internet service package named SOC for individuals and household customers. The highest speed Internet service package in Vietnam is officially available from May 1, 2017 in Hanoi and also Ho Chi Minh City.

This service allows users to access Internet speed faster 100 times than the average one in Vietnam. (According to Akamai's latest statistics, the average Internet access speed of users by the end of 2016 is 8.3Mbps).

This is also evaluated as a proactive step for FPT Telecom to utilize optical fiber infrastructure, technology and human resource into developing services and products in the high segmentation to orient and bolster the market, as well as bring different experiences for domestic users. Advanced Internet environment similar to other countries like Singapore, South Korea, Australia, USA, etc. will be created.

"Joining Vietnam ICT Comm for the first time, FPT Telecom hopes to create unique and different experiences, then contributing to the success of the exhibition,” stated Nguyen Hoang Linh, Deputy General Director of FPT Telecom.

Besides the SOC package, FPT Telecom also introduced many outstanding products and services including FPT Television and FPT Play Box.

Digital TV service of FPT Telecom is one of the most attractive IPTV services with many outstanding functions. With the fiber optic infrastructure and HD television services, FPT television offers customers a broad range of programs. This is also the first television system in Vietnam to launch interactive programs such as “Opening safes”, Bigschool

FPT Play Box is a TV Box can likely replace cable TV in the future. Currently there are more than 100 free channels, football leagues, many carefully selected films and apps.
