FPT Telecom won “Outstanding provider of high-speed fixed Internet service”

This title was published by International Data Group Vietnam (IDG) and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) after User Satisfaction Survey on Mobile Broadband Internet Service Providers (MBP) and Fixed Broadband Service Providers (FBP). The survey was conducted from January 1 to March 27 in eight major cities and provinces.

In 2017, FPT Telecom launched a 1Gbps internet service package - SOC.

This result reflects the quality of service, the serving attitude and the internet connection speed (including ADSL and Fiber) of FPT Telecom. In the last few years, FPT Telecom has been implementing many programs to increase bandwidth and internet speed. In January, the provider reported a 30% increase in fiber optic Internet speed without adjusting costs.

In addition, FPT Telecom is also known as the first telecommunications service provider to launch a 1Gbps internet service package – SOC, which allows users to download a full HD 1080 movie in 1-2 minutes, upload large documents, access 4K content and videos, virtual reality (VR) and online games etc.

From the early days of internet in Vietnam, FPT Telecom displayed the spirit of "doing it differently" when launching ADSL package at 10-40% of original price. It also pioneered FTTH service with support for speeds up to 10 gigabits per second, 200 times faster than ADSL 2+ (20 megabits per second). These contributed to the moving trend and fair competition in the Internet market, making the number of Internet users be increased by nearly 7 times in 5 years, from 2003 to 2008.
