FPT to lead strategic digital technology advancement at National Forum on Digital Enterprises Development

FPT Corporation took on the mission of mastering strategic digital technology at the 6th National Forum on Digital Enterprises Development (VFTE). The FPT.AI platform was recognized as an outstanding "Made in Vietnam" digital product for 2019 – 2024.

The 6th VFTE, themed "Mastering Digital Technology, Leading Vietnam’s Digital Transformation with Vietnamese Digital Enterprises," was organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications. The event was attended by General Secretary To Lam, members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, MIC leaders, and executives from leading organizations and enterprises.

FPT commits to advancing AI and Large language models

At the event, the MIC authorized Vietnam's digital technology enterprises with strategic responsibilities. Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, was assigned to master AI and large language models (LLMs).

In taking on this critical task, FPT has pledged to actively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, focusing on research and technological mastery to drive the digital transformation revolution. The company aims to position Vietnam for a breakthrough in the new digital era.
During the forum, Mr. Truong Gia Binh reflected on FPT's journey to the global market, which began over 25 years ago. He shared insights into the company's initial struggles in India and the US, emphasizing how early failures became stepping stones to later success. FPT eventually reached 1 billion USD in revenue from international markets. This achievement stands as a testament to Vietnam's ambition to expand its intellectual frontier, transforming from a minor player into a recognized name on the global technology map.

According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW is a foundation for Vietnam's rise, positioning the country as a strong and prosperous nation. The resolution marks a critical turning point, signaling that Vietnam's opportunity for transformation has arrived. General Secretary To Lam outlined four key actions for the State, businesses, scientists, intellectuals, and the public, while the Government's action program defined seven major task groups. FPT has committed to implementing three key initiatives:

Firstly, FPT will focus its investments on five core technology pillars: AI, Semiconductors, Automotive Technology, Digital Transformation, and Green Transformation. FPT is committed to developing AI chips and advancing automotive software solutions as the automotive industry shifts from mechanical systems to software-driven technologies. The Corporation is actively collaborating with major US and European automotive corporations. Additionally, FPT will play a key role in digital transformation, green transformation, and AI-driven transformation across various industries, local governments, education, and healthcare.

Secondly, FPT currently has 12,000 AI engineers, with nearly 10,000 NVIDIA certifications earned quickly. FPT is committed to training 10,000 semiconductor engineers, educating 50,000 AI engineers, and providing AI knowledge training for 500,000 employees across various industries by 2030.

Thirdly, the Corporation is committed to expanding its AI infrastructure, with the construction of two AI factories in Vietnam and Japan already underway. FPT plans to establish five AI factories globally by 2030, reinforcing Vietnam's position as the region's leading provider of AI computing infrastructure.

FPT.AI recognized as an outstanding 'Make in Vietnam' digital product

At the "Make in Vietnam" Digital Product 2024 Award ceremony, the MIC honored FPT.AI as a notable digital product in 2019 – 2024.

FPT.AI integrates comprehensive AI solutions for businesses and has been adopted by over 200 large enterprises across 15 countries. It facilitates more than 200 million interactions between companies and customers each month, contributing to a 67% productivity increase and a 40% cost reduction for businesses.

In addition, three "Made by FPT" products – VertZéro, VioEdu, and Volar FINEX – were ranked among the Top 10 Typical tech products. VertZéro is an automated greenhouse gas inventory platform that fully complies with international standards, helping organizations and businesses develop green transformation strategies and achieve Net Zero goals. VioEdu is one of Vietnam's leading online education platforms for high school students, boasting over 20 million users and facilitating over 1 billion practice sessions annually. Volar FINEX is the first and only Made-in-Vietnam core financial system designed to support complex financial operations. It provides a comprehensive core system for financial institutions and is trusted by major banks and financial companies.

As part of the event, FPT Corporation hosted an interactive booth under the theme "New Era with AI." At the booth, FPT introduced FPT AI Agents, a cutting-edge platform that enables creating and managing multilingual AI agents, enhancing work efficiency and customer experience. This technology has been successfully deployed in the FPT Long Chau drug retail chain, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing training costs.

FPT AI Factory was presented as a high-performance AI computing infrastructure offering comprehensive AI solutions, including FPT AI Infrastructure, FPT AI Studio, FPT AI Inference, and FPT AI Agents. Through FPT AI Factory, businesses can accelerate AI adoption, optimize operations, and reduce costs.

Intelligent Inspection - I2 is an AI-driven intelligent testing solution designed for smart factories. The solution automates quality control and minimizes equipment downtime by integrating vision, IoT, and audio modules. It helps enhance product quality and optimize energy efficiency in smart factories.

FPT also showcased its AI-First SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) platform, which leverages AI-driven solutions in cockpit display technology, autonomous driving support, vehicle safety testing, and CAD/CAE design technology. With over 20 years of expertise, FPT has integrated technology solutions into more than 50 million vehicles globally and remains committed to developing innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions for next-generation vehicles worldwide.

They contribute to advancing the digital Government, digital economy, and digital society.
