FPT tops out major 20,000-student education complex to celebrate Hue's 50 years of liberation

26/03/2025

Marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Thua Thien Hue, FPT held a topping-out ceremony on March 26 for its new education complex, designed to accommodate up to 20,000 students. The event was a powerful demonstration of FPT's long-term commitment to developing top-tier education for the region.

Hue now becomes the ninth city in the Central Highlands where the FPT Education system has a presence and the first to see the rollout of a full-scale education complex offering both general and vocational education. The Hue FPT Education Complex is a flagship project representing a key step in the group's strategy to build a robust, high-quality educational ecosystem throughout the Central region.

FPT's decision to invest in a large-scale education hub in Hue reflects a strategic vision: aligning educational growth with the city's economic development. Especially now, as Hue officially becomes a centrally-governed city on January 1, 2025, the project carries even more weight, helping propel comprehensive growth with education as one of its foundational pillars.

Also sharing his thoughts, Mr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the University Council of FPT University, noted that FPT doesn't just aim to build a quality education system and catalyze digital talent development in Hue. From as early as primary school, students are exposed to AI, STEM, and Robotics, helping them build strong tech foundations and adapt swiftly to the fast-changing digital world. Beyond technical knowledge, FPT students are trained in essential life skills and experience a rich school life, laying down a strong base for future success.

The FPT Education Complex in Hue is expected to officially open its doors in 2025, enrolling students from primary through high school (FPT Schools), as well as those pursuing vocational tracks (FPT College and FPT PolySchool). Designed to serve up to 20,000 students and generate around 600 local jobs, the complex isn't just about classrooms and campuses. It's set to become a vital engine for regional growth. With its dual mission to elevate education and build a tech-ready workforce, the project is poised to play a significant role in Hue's and the Central Highlands' socio-economic development journey.
