FPT University enter globalization wave

Opening FPT high school was considered the highlight of FPT Education in 2013 with the first 160 students studying and living in FPT University’s campus in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi.

FPT secondary school was operated under international boarding model. In particular, students learn in the environment meeting international standards from Monday to Friday every week. Weekends will be spent for families and social activities. This model is also run by the top high schools in the U.S. and other countries.

It is expected that  the separate infrastructure of FPT high school will be put into use Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park by 2015.

Besides FPT high school, FPT University launched the first course for international students.

In 2013, FU officially has first international students to study formal university program lasting 4 years. 41 students from Korea, Nigeria, Cameron and Laos would major in information technology and business administration.

They will be provided with the curriculum whose content is consistent with existing program for Vietnamese students. Besides, they will learn more about Vietnamese culture as well as attend many extracurricular activities and personal development programs.

FPT University considered ‘go global’ strategy as an important mission as well as an inevitable path to improve the education quality.

In addition to the international admission, FU is promoting activities such as opening its facilities in foreign countries as well as strengthening cooperation with well-known universities in the world to bring its students opportunities to participate in exchanges and short -term studies abroad.
