FPT University pioneering development of systems science in Vietnam
International workshop on "development of systems science in Vietnam and application in Education" has been held for the first time by FPT School of Business (FSB) under FPT University in collaboration with Adelaide University (Australia) and Centre for Thinking Science under Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.

Aiming application in education, the workshop on September 23rd was attended by two Vice Presidents of the International Society for the Systems Science (ISSS) along with many leaders, managers and lecturers from nearly 20 research institutes, universities and academies in Vietnam.

Systems Thinking is known as a creative approach to solve many complex problems in both nature and life. It is quickly regarded as a key element for thinking innovation to meet cognitive demand of the complexities emerging from the whole relationship.
"As understanding the importance of systems thinking for a long time, the Managing Board planned its applications in management and administration, innovation of teaching methods and assessment which have brought about some good results in improving the training quality", FSB Director Nguyen Viet Thang said.
“In order to make the wish come true, we implemented systems thinking among lecturers at first. Upon understanding systems thinking well, they will transfer it to their students. As a result, a team of administrators who know how to solve the root problem will fortify greater value resonance for society", he said.
Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Head of Systems Thinking Board under Centre for Thinking Science, said that renewing thinking and building systems thinking as well as creative thinking played role as the breakthrough for educational reform.
