FPT University signed comprehensive cooperation agreement with VietinBank

On the morning of March 4 in Hanoi, FPT University, FPT Corporation, and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a comprehensive partnership between the two sides in training and developing human resources in the field of Digital Banking and Finance.

This collaboration holds strategic significance in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the explosive growth of artificial intelligence (AI). The agreement seeks to leverage each side's strengths to boost the development of high-quality human resources, give students a leg up in accessing career opportunities, and ramp up scientific research in Digital Banking and Finance.

Through this partnership, FPT University and VietinBank will work hand in hand to develop a team of digital banking experts, conduct scientific research, support students, and build their brands. Specifically, VietinBank is committed to giving top priority to recruiting graduates from FPT University, especially in majors such as AI, Information Security, Digital Banking & Finance, Investment Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Technology (FinTech), and Digital Marketing, among others. Students with outstanding academic achievements, recommended by FPT University, along with those who have interned at VietinBank, will enjoy a competitive edge in the recruitment process.

VietinBank will offer scholarships and create favorable conditions for FPT University students to intern and work at VietinBank, and will also send experts to take part in training programs. Both parties will jointly roll out short-term training programs, conduct scientific research, and organize specialized forums and seminars.

In return, FPT University will support communications, introduce, and facilitate VietinBank’s access to lecturers, staff, and students through banking products and services. The university will also send highly qualified lecturers and experts to participate as guest speakers and panelists at VietinBank’s specialized seminars, workshops, and academic events.
