FPT and Gremsy Form Strategic Partnership to Advance UAV Research and the Low-Altitude Economy

November 25, 2025 — At the groundbreaking ceremony of the Gremsy Factory Project, FPT Corporation and Gremsy Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the 2025–2030 period, aiming to accelerate research, technological development, and market expansion in the fields of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE).

The partnership is built on the shared goal of advancing R&D and strengthening market presence in the rapidly emerging UAV and LAE sectors. The agreement is aligned with key national directions, including the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and the establishment of the Vietnam Low-Altitude Economy Alliance (VN LAEP).

Under the agreement, the two sides commit to close collaboration across four core areas, focusing on R&D and market enablement. Both parties will regularly exchange information on new products, market trends, industry standards, and technological updates related to UAVs to enhance competitiveness.

Joint R&D for Next-Generation UAV Technologies

In Research & Development, FPT and Gremsy will jointly pursue advancements in next-generation UAV products, leveraging each party’s strengths.

• Gremsy will maximize its deep expertise in UAV hardware systems, including mechanical design, electronic boards, next-generation gimbal systems, and advanced camera technologies.

• FPT will contribute its capabilities in software development, IoT, AI algorithms, big data processing, and related digital applications.

This synergy aims to create a comprehensive technological foundation that supports innovation in UAV platforms and their applications.

Mutual Market Support and Capability Building

The partnership also features a strong mechanism for mutual support:

• FPT will help Gremsy expand access to potential customers and markets within its global network, and facilitate Gremsy’s participation in FPT-hosted events—ranging from technical seminars to international innovation forums. FPT will also share its experience in corporate management and global-standard operations to enhance Gremsy’s organizational capabilities.

• Conversely, Gremsy will support FPT by offering its practical experience and deep domain knowledge in UAV systems. Gremsy will also help FPT accelerate its entry into the UAV sector through related products such as management software, AI-enabled applications, and Low-Altitude Traffic Management (UTM) systems.

Joint Working Group for Implementation

To ensure effective execution, the two parties will establish a Joint Working Group, serving as the primary coordination unit responsible for maintaining regular communication, developing detailed action plans, and monitoring progress.

The Working Group will proactively propose expansions to the cooperation scope, quality enhancements, and long-term strategic directions, paving the way for future contracts, agreements, and investment initiatives as needed.
