The International Business Awards® are the world's premier business awards program, and the only completely-international program honoring achievement in the workplace. The winners were selected from 3,800 nominations from organizations in 60 countries by 250 executives worldwide.
According to the judges, FPT has made a significant contribution to support its local community and government in fighting this epidemic, especially with technologies.
FPT stands with the frontline doctors in the fight against COVID-19.
Since the early outbreak of coronavirus, FPT has partnered with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health and introduced a 24/7 chatbot. So far, it has answered 1 million inquires by 129,000 users. Its AI learning platform VioEdu was also made free for local students of all level during nationwide school closures.
Earlier this June, FPT has donated its 2,000-room university dormitory as a quarantine facility and contributed VND20 billion in medical equipment, including ventilators, disinfectant chambers, and medical protective supplies to the pandemic’s frontline responders.
FPT has increased bandwidth for internet users to meet high demand for online learning and working; offer small and medium enterprises FPT EagleEye information security management service for free in 3 months, developing Made by FPT solution/service system to help businesses increase productivity by up to 80% and save up to 60% of costs.
In order to keep its employees safe and ensure the business activities, FPT proactively responded and quickly adapted to unexpected and complicated developments of the epidemics. As soon as the first known case of COVID-19 in Vietnam was reported, FPT issued directives asking employees to strictly comply with COVID-19 prevention and control measures and develop business scenarios to cope with the new developments of the Covid-19 epidemic. FPT quickly deployed working from home models; promoting interaction and reaching customers through online channels.
