FPT won many ICT awards 2016 in Vietnam

On June 23, the HCM City Computer Association (HCA) announced and honored the Vietnam ICT Top 5 and Gold Medal Award. Accordingly, FPT was honored Top software export and outsourcing, Top software service provider, Top IT system integration provider and given gold medal in software and service exports.

The Vietnam ICT Top 5 and Gold Medal Award are organized by Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA) annually, Gold Medal award has begun since 1998 and ICT Top 5 Award since 2001. The awards are held annually with the aim to recognize, popularize, honor and encourage enterprise in the ICT sector, to promote activities and raise competitive ability to help the ICT to become the key economy, actively contribute more and more to the economic growth of Ho Chi Minh city in particular and Vietnam in general. This year, 28 Top 5 awards and 24 Gold Medals were given.

According to the organizers, the total revenue of Vietnam ICT Top 5 increased steadily over the last 3 years, and an increase of 7% compared with 2014. The increase in this group was contributed mainly by activities in the field of software.

For, Top IT system integration providers, statistics showed little change in the last 3 years, a decrease of 3% compared to 2014. The software sector saw the best growth in 3 years, an increase of 45% compared to 2014. Especially, FPT IS increased by 67%.

Also in the fields of software, the total revenue from software and service exports had an impressive increase, up 32% compared to 2014. In 2015, FPT Software earned USD 181 million in revenue, up 34% compared to 2014. The company was also named among Global Outsourcing 100® (GO100) list for the 3rd consecutive year.
