FPT Makes a Strong Impression at “Thu Duc Digital Day 2025”

08/12/2025

In recent days, FPT Corporation reaffirmed its position as a strategic digital transformation partner of Ho Chi Minh City authorities with a prominent presence at “Thu Duc Digital Day 2025”.

The event—organized by the People’s Committee of Thu Duc Ward in collaboration with Metro and Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) and held at Metro Line No. 1 Station—served as a platform for the city and technology enterprises to showcase digital solutions for citizens, supporting the vision of a smart, efficient, and modern urban ecosystem.

FPT’s exhibition area at “Thu Duc Digital Day 2025” attracted strong public interest.

FPT introduced a comprehensive technology display space featuring a selection of Made by FPT solutions designed to address essential urban needs including transportation, healthcare, and public services. Through this showcase, FPT reaffirmed its message: to join Thu Duc City in building a modern, convenient, and safer living environment powered by Vietnamese technology—while illustrating the digital ecosystem being deployed across Thu Duc and Ho Chi Minh City.

FPT showcased key “Made by FPT” digital solutions serving urban needs such as mobility, healthcare, and citizen convenience.

Visitors experienced the HCMC Metro HURC application, jointly developed by FPT and HURC1, designed to support seamless and modern passenger mobility on Metro Line No. 1.

Available for free on both Android and iOS, the app enables users to purchase e-tickets, make payments using multiple methods, and generate QR codes for entry and exit—significantly reducing waiting time and simplifying the commuting experience.

HCMC Metro HURC, developed by FPT and HURC1, enhances convenience and modernity for Metro Line No. 1 passengers.

HCMC Metro HURC provides comprehensive information about routes, station maps, travel directions, ticket prices, and essential utilities. It also integrates 360° virtual tours, 3D train models, and a “Feedback” feature allowing users to submit comments directly.

With more than 1.3 million downloads since launch, the application has become an important tool supporting transparent, eco-friendly public transportation and advancing Ho Chi Minh City’s smart mobility agenda.

Alongside mobility solutions, FPT’s healthcare technologies also drew strong attention—particularly the Vietnam Epidemiology & Pharmaceutical Map and the 3P Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) device.

FPT’s healthcare solutions, including the Vietnam Epidemiology & Pharmaceutical Map and the 3P Continuous Glucose Monitoring device, received interest from Thu Duc Ward leadership.

The Vietnam Epidemiology & Pharmaceutical Map, co-developed by FPT and Long Châu Pharmacy System, is a preventive health tool leveraging real-time data.

It aggregates and analyzes nationwide pharmaceutical usage from more than 2,200 Long Châu pharmacies (serving over 28 million people), providing insights into disease trends and predicting outbreak risks.

All transaction data is encrypted and authenticated via VNeID, cross-referenced with the National Population Database to ensure transparency and accuracy.

From January 1, 2025, citizens can also purchase Long Châu medicines online through VNeID—another major step in healthcare digitization.

The 3P Continuous Glucose Monitoring device allows users to track glucose 24/7 without blood sampling. A small sensor and mobile app provide updates every three minutes for 14 days, with visual charts reflecting the effects of diet, exercise, and medication. Doctors can remotely access patient data via the FPT MediCare app to optimize treatment plans.

At the HCMC Digital Transformation Center booth, citizens experienced the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App, developed in collaboration with FPT.

At the booth of the HCMC Digital Transformation Center, FPT also co-introduced the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App—a unified channel for seamless two-way interaction between citizens and city authorities.

Users authenticate through VNeID, enabling direct data integration and secure communication with government agencies.

To encourage adoption, FPT and the HCMC Digital Transformation Center offered 300 discount vouchers (3% off purchases at FPT Shop) to residents who downloaded the app, along with a variety of interactive tech experiences.

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology’s 2024 assessment, Ho Chi Minh City continues to lead Vietnam’s Digital Transformation Index (DTI) across all three pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

In the broader picture of digital transformation across Ho Chi Minh City—and Thu Duc in particular—the partnership of technology enterprises plays a pivotal role in activating models of digital governance, digital economy, and smart urban services.

As a strategic partner, FPT has contributed significantly through solutions such as the HCMC Digital Citizen App, the shared urban data platform, intelligent operation centers (IOC) for multiple districts, and digitization across healthcare, transportation, and social services.

In Thu Duc, FPT has co-developed Smart Neighborhood models integrating resident data, incident reporting, public services, and essential utilities onto digital platforms to support transparent governance and improved citizen services.

With a long-term commitment to supporting urban authorities, FPT affirms its dedication to working closely with Thu Duc Ward and the wider Ho Chi Minh City government in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW—enhancing citizen service quality, optimizing urban management, and driving economic growth powered by Vietnamese technology.
