FSB continues to offer VND 2 billion scholarships to potential leaders

FPT School of Business (FSB) offers 100 scholarships to FeMBA attendants. The biggest one is nearly VND 70 million.

This is the program named MBA Scholarship for Future Leaders" by FSB under FPT University. The program aims to find out potential candidates to foster.

The total value of the scholarship fund is 2 billion VND, divided into more than 100 scholarships at 5 different levels, depending on students’ ability and their chosen training programs.

The high-priority candidates include outstanding people from VNR 500 2015 and those with community influence, potential contribution to the community.

According to Mr. Ha Nguyen, FSB Director, the program aims to seek and nurture potential leaders, as well as help candidates orient their ability, perfecting their leadership skills to become an excellent manager.

 Chairman of FPT Software Hoang Nam, FPT COO Hoang Viet Ha and FSB Director Ha Nguyen are the members of the jury.

Those participants must be a Vietnamese citizen, eligible for postgraduate programs, have at least 2 years of work experience; strong leadership qualities, ambition and determination.

The process for granting scholarships consists of 3 rounds.

Round 1 lasts from August 10 to 21 and from August 29 to September 11. Applicants must register at http://quiz.fsb.edu.vn/ and take an EQ (Emotional Intelligence) test which aims to identify those who have natural leadership qualities.

Round 2 from August 22 to 26 and from August 29 to September 11, those passing Round 1 qualify will receive an email asking documents for scholarships. Apply for a scholarship at the admissions department, FSB or send email to [email protected].

Round 3 take place on August 27 and September 17, candidates with high scores and good profiles will attend a interview. The jury includes the leaders of FPT Corporation. These are Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, former CEO of FPT Corporation; Hoang Nam Tien, Chairman of FPT Software; Hoang Viet Ha – FPT COO; Dam Quang Minh, FPT University Rector; Ha Nguyen FSB Director besides some members from Board of Directors of large companies in Vietnam namely Habeco, Novaland ... and well-known experts in the field of business administration.

The jury will make decisions based on four criteria. They are online score (20%); Degrees, Grade Point Average (GPA) and certificates (20%); Awards and Influence (30%) and Leadership qualities (30%). Results will be published within one week after the interview.
