Great Place To Work Institute - Fortune's global agency for workplace culture recognized FPT Japan (FJP) as a great place to work in the land of the rising sun. FPT Japan has become the first foreign affiliate of FPT to receive this prestigious certification.
On September 1, the Great Place to Work® Japan Institute (GPTW Japan) published a list of businesses that are certified as Great Workplaces. Accordingly, FPT Japan was honored in the group of enterprises with more than 1,000 employees. This recognition is the first step for the management team to understand how employees are experiencing workplace culture, thereby creating the best working environment. It also opens the door for FPT Japan towards the annual "Best Workplace" list of Fortune.
FPT Japan's certification was evaluated by Great Place to Work Japan based on the survey results of about 600 FPT Japan employees randomized last July. The survey shows that FPT Japan is most appreciated by employees (over 84%) in three factors: Friendly leadership and management with the willingness to communicate; Career development roadmaps and training plans tailored to each individual; The feeling of safety, equality and pride of employees coming to work.
Since its establishment, FPT Japan has always strived to build an ideal working environment for employees. The company advocates creating a comprehensive employee experience, strengthening the organization, and forming a good brand for sustainable development. Compared to indigenous companies, FPT Japan currently has many advantages in terms of competitive income, support policies, and training plans for employees and relatives.
Specifically, it gives opportunities for employees to demonstrate expertise, cultivate leadership, and propose solutions. Furthermore, FPT Japan promotes cross-cultural interconnections through internal sharing sessions with employees of more than 16 nationalities. Besides, the company also issues many policies to increase the benefits of employees and relatives in health care and education for better well-being in Japan.
Great Place To Work is a valued certification in Japan and globally. "Obtaining this achievement, FPT Japan will enhance its reputation in the perspectives of customers and job applicants. It also motivates employees to gain trust in the organization they are working for," commented FPT Japan's Chief People Officer (CPO) Trinh Van Thao.
In Japan, FPT Japan is well-known as the most significant foreign technology company, with the biggest workforce of more than 1,800 employees. Over the past 17 years, it has continuously grown its share of IT technology and services in Japan, implementing critical digital transformation projects for leading Japanese enterprises. The company aims to reach the top 20 largest IT Service companies in Japan by 2025 and have sales of USD 1 billion by 2027.
