Implementation of Personal Income Tax (PIT) management system in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang
Commencing on 17th May 2010, the Personal Income Tax Management System (PIT) shall be officially implemented in the provincial tax departments of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang and four subsidiaries.

For a year of huge effort spent by 200 staff of the General Department of Taxation and FIS, the PIT application has been completed. The system comprises more than 100 integrated modules that allow centralized management and storage of PIT data nationwide, meeting the demands of PIT’s profession.
The system has passed two strict examinations with the participation of end-users who are tax employees before it comes to the pilot implementation phase.
PIT team is preparing the pilot environment in Bac Ninh
As revealed by the General Department of Taxation, the pilot implementation in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang aims at operating the PIT management system on a small scale to evaluate the application and implementation procedure for timely adjustment and further completion for the national deployment in the coming time.
The pilot implementation lasts from 17th May to 24th June 2010 with the attendance of 40 project members and more than 70 staff from provincial tax departments of Bac Ninh; Bac Giang and the districts of Viet Yen and Tu Son.
The pilot takes place just before the finalization of PIT settlement in 2009, which enables the two provinces to employ the new system in handling the settlement procedures.
