Implementing overload detection system on Thuan Phuoc Bridge

FPT IS will provide the surveillance cameras used by the Traffic light control and public transportation center in Da Nang to detect overloaded vehicles on Thuan Phuoc Bridge.

2 surveillance cameras were installed along Thuan Phuoc bridge.

This solution offered by FPT has been deployed in many projects in HCM City, Can Tho, Hanoi etc.

FPT IS piloted the load control solution across Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Da Nang early 2016. 2 cameras were installed to record and automatically recognize the number plates, detect overloaded vehicles etc. The system will enable Da Nang traffic inspectors to detect violations and send violation notices to the vehicle’s registered owners.

After the pilot implementation, the system has brought many benefits such as labor savings; strong impact on the awareness of drivers.

It is expected that the project will be completed in November 2016. Some other features will be added namely editing interface, adding customize feature, notice violations ... according to the customer’s need.

The success of the project would be an important prerequisite for FPT IS to be involved in other projects in the field of intelligent transportation in Danang.
