FPT Received IR Awards for the 7th Times

The 2023 IR Awards has officially announced the "Comprehensive report on information disclosure on the stock market in 2023". And FPT is one of 44 large-cap companies recognized as Enterprises that best meet the Information Disclosure Standard in 2023. Besides, the Corporation is among the few enterprises honored for many years. In the past 13 years (2011 - 2023), FPT has been recognized as meeting the Information Disclosure Standard seven times.

According to the Organizing Committee, no company has remained on the list for the entire 13 years. This demonstrates the fierce fact that compliance with regulations on information disclosure is always challenging. Instead, it is a serious obstacle even for large and leading enterprises.

As the first IT company listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in 2006, FPT has always identified IR as a critical activity for business development and strived to ensure transparent governance, meeting international standards. The Corporation always keeps complete, transparent, accurate, and timely information disclosure as prescribed by law. 100% of disclosed information is accurately updated on the Corporation's website and other means of communication in Vietnamese and English under relevant law on information disclosure for listed companies. All stakeholders can get easy access to all information that needs to be published per regulations, other valuable information on FPT's website, and mass media.

FPT continues to win the goodwill and appreciation from domestic and foreign investors with its increasing governance improvement under international standards and transparency in the organization's activities. FPT stock has always received significant attention due to its strong growth potential and high liquidity. In 2022, FPT reached a trading value of 223 billion VND/session, up 7% compared to 2021. The share of foreign ownership in FPT is always at the ceiling rate of 49%.

Listed companies being honored in the list must meet all criteria for information disclosure on the stock market, including financial statements, annual reports, BOD reports, and AGM. Besides, they must not be warned or fined for violations of information disclosure, and the company's internal people must not be reminded or penalized for violations of information disclosure for stock transactions.

The provisions of Circular 96/2020/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance on November 16, 2020, and other regulations from relevant State agencies are followed while they design the set of survey criteria for the program.

Disclosure of information is mandatory for listed companies on the stock market, based on current legislation. It is not only an obligation but also a responsibility of businesses to shareholders and investors.

In 2023, the Organizing Committee surveyed 731 enterprises listed on two stock exchanges (HOSE and HNX). According to the results, those who fully and timely meeting the obligation to disclose information were 364 companies, accounting for 50% of the total. In particular, the large-cap group performed the best information disclosure management with 44 accredited enterprises, accounting for 10% of the total number of the list and 80% of the market capitalization.

IR Awards (2011 - 2023) is the voting program for Listed companies with the best Investor Relations activities, organized by Vietstock, Vietnam Association of Financial Executives (VAFE), and FiLi.vn. The program aims to honor businesses that fully and promptly meet the obligation to disclose information on the stock market every year by surveying all listed companies and announcing the list of Enterprises that best meet the Information Disclosure Standard.
