Irish ambassador visit FPT University
Mr. Damien Cole, Ambassador of Republic of Ireland, will speak to FPT lecturers and students on the topic "Development experiences of Ireland: The Role of Technology" on Sep. 27.

He is expected to exchange views with leaders of FPT University as well as visit the campus in Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (Hanoi).
Mr. Damien Cole has worked in Vietnam since August 2011. He has ever shared with Vietnamese press about education. He said that Ireland have had a very strong investment in education for past 50 years.
The universities form very close connections with many businesses. Besides learning theory, practicing in the enterprises, many of which are reputed, helps students be fully equipped with the knowledge after their graduation.
"The greatest achievement of Irish education in recent years is to train many excellent bachelors in the field of information technology and engineering. Many of them are working for the world famous firms such as Google, Intel and Facebook etc.", Ambassador of Ireland Mr. Damien Cole said.
Experiences of Ireland during its educational reform in the last decades are worth learning as FPT University is on the path of making its innovation aspiration come true.
