Hoa Binh Provincial Leadership Delegation Visits FPT Complex in Hoa Lac

On the afternoon of March 30th, FPT had a working session with the leadership of Hoa Binh province regarding the strategic cooperation direction in investing in building a high-quality inter-level training system and strategic consulting, as well as developing comprehensive digital transformation programs and plans in the province. The delegation of Hoa Binh province also visited the FPT University campus in Hanoi and the FPT software training complex and software park at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.
Attending the working session were Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Hoa Binh province, Mr. Bui Duc Hinh - the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Bui Van Khanh - the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, as well as leaders of various departments and agencies of the province.
Welcoming the Hoa Binh Provincial Leadership Delegation at the Hola Park Software Complex were Mr. Truong Gia Binh - the Chairman of FPT Corporation's Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan - the Deputy General Director of FPT Software, Mr. Ta Ngoc Cau - the Deputy Director of FPT University Hanoi, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Viet - the Director of Technology at FPT Information System Company, along with representatives from several departments within FPT.
During the working session, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Hoa Binh province - emphasized that based on the advantages such as its geographical location as a gateway to the Northwest region and Hanoi, as well as its rich and longstanding cultural heritage, the province has significant potential for economic development with the support of capable and experienced investors. He expressed that FPT Corporation would support the region in promoting digital transformation based on the three pillars of the digital economy, the digital society, and the digital government, towards sustainable and green development for the entire area.
In addition, the leaders of Hoa Binh province also requested that FPT Corporation support the community in developing education and high-quality human resources, establish a multi-level (from primary to college) and university-level training school under the FPT brand, and also stated their desire to build a high-tech software complex. The province also highly evaluated FPT's strengths in human resources, technological capabilities, and experiences in this business. The province leaders also committed to accompanying and creating optimal conditions for FPT in researching and implementing projects in Hoa Binh.
During the working session, FPT provided an overview of its activities, as well as its technological capabilities, strengths in digital transformation, and high-quality human resource training at all levels of education.
At the working session, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, shared his thoughts.
Mr. Truong Gia Binh affirmed that with FPT's strengths in technology, fast implementation speed, a workforce of 60,000 employees, including 3,500 working overseas, global experts, and experience in implementing digital transformation for leading multinational corporations, FPT is confident in quickly promoting digital transformation for the local area, building universities, inter-level schools, and high-tech software parks similar to those in Hoa Lac, with the support and facilitation from Hoa Binh province.
Through the survey process, FPT also assessed that Hoa Binh has significant potential for development and can become a pioneer in local digital transformation and investment attraction in the future.
During the working session, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Viet, Director of Technology at FPT Information System Company, also proposed ideas for the formation and exploitation of digital data for Hoa Binh province. In light of the difficulties and delays in the decision-making process due to local data issues, FPT suggested building a centralized data warehouse and developing software to immediately exploit data, generate reports, and make flexible adjustments, thereby enabling economic and social development forecasting models.
The FPT leaders presented souvenir gifts to the leaders of Hoa Binh province.
In 2022, FPT signed digital transformation cooperation agreements with 14 provinces and cities nationwide, intending to support comprehensive economic and social development across the three pillars of the digital economy, the digital government, and the digital society, towards a digital nation model. To date, the corporation has signed comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreements with 26 provinces and cities.
