Nafoods Group and FPT Corporation Sign Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to Digitally Transform the Agricultural Value Chain

Recently, Nafoods Group JSC (HOSE: NAF) and FPT Corporation officially signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement and launched the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning system. The event marks an important milestone in Nafoods’ digital transformation journey toward becoming a data-driven agricultural enterprise with international-standard governance and a stronger position in the global value chain.

Joining Forces to Build a Comprehensive Digital Agriculture Ecosystem
Under the agreement, Nafoods and FPT establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with the shared goal of sustainable development, jointly advancing digital transformation, data utilization, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI). The partnership aims to position Nafoods as a pioneer in digital technology adoption and a leading high-tech agriculture enterprise in Viet Nam.
The two parties will work together to build and develop a comprehensive digital ecosystem for Nafoods by applying technology, data, and Made by FPT digital transformation solutions across the entire agricultural value chain — from seed R&D, cultivation, and processing to distribution and market consumption.
FPT will advise and accompany Nafoods in building a holistic digital transformation strategy tailored to the characteristics of a large-scale, multi-region, multi-market agricultural enterprise with a complex supply chain.
Nafoods Group is one of Viet Nam’s leading agricultural enterprises with over 30 years of experience in developing a digital, green, and sustainable agricultural value chain. The company operates an integrated closed-loop model from breeding, raw material development, production and processing to trade and export. Nafoods manages and partners on tens of thousands of hectares nationwide and exports products to more than 70 countries, including key markets such as Asia-Pacific, Europe, the U.S., and Australia.
The digital transformation strategy reflects Nafoods’ long-term vision and aligns with national priorities, particularly Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Building the Foundation for Digital Transformation
With farming areas and processing plants nationwide and a global export footprint, Nafoods manages a large volume of data across a complex agricultural value chain, while meeting strict traceability requirements from export markets. This requires a centralized, transparent, and real-time management platform.
At the event, Nafoods and FPT — a Gold Partner of SAP in Viet Nam — officially launched the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud project. The ERP system will serve as Nafoods’ core digital platform, integrating sales, finance, accounting, quality management, supply chain, and project management into a unified real-time system.
FPT will also deploy the FPT Smart Farm platform to enable centralized management of farming, production, logistics, and market data, supporting real-time monitoring, yield forecasting, traceability, and transparent supply chain governance.
On top of this data foundation, Nafoods will cooperate with Sendo Farm — FPT’s agricultural e-commerce platform — to expand direct-to-consumer distribution of high-quality agricultural products.
Advancing Comprehensive Digital Capabilities
In the next phase, Nafoods will deploy SAP Analytics Cloud and integrate Made by FPT applications for management reporting, financial and supply planning, e-office, and greenhouse gas emissions monitoring.
A key focus is building internal digital capacity. FPT and Nafoods will implement training programs for leadership and staff on digital governance, data management, AI application, and innovation to form a strong internal technology team.
