Nearly 500 students attend "FPT Leader Talk" at Hue University of Sciences

Last weekend, FPT in collaboration with the Hue University of Sciences organized the program named "FPT Leader Talk 2016".

The event was joined by Ms. Trinh Thu Hong, Head of FPT Human Resources Department; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phuong, Director of FPT Software Da Nang; Mr. Hoang Van Hien, Rector of Hue University of Sciences; Mr. Hoang Quang, Dean of IT Faculty under Hue University of Sciences and numerous employees and nearly 500 students from the Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications.

The speakers included four young IT engineers and leaders of FPT Software Danang. They shared experience of working with foreign partners, how to develop career as well as opportunities to work abroad.

But according to you Nguyen Nhat Quy, IT engineers of FPT Software Danang, the students outside learning try to practice at the enterprise because "hearing is not equal to one hundred shows".

Hue University of Science and FPT Software Danang have cooperated for years. From April 2015, the leaders from  two sides signed a MoU for vocational training and employment.

"FPT Leader Talk 2016" for students of Hue University of Sciences was one of activities to promote their relationships. The program created an opportunity for students to meet a lot of FPT leaders as well as to better understand FPT, thereby have the future career orientation and get themselves a right job after graduation.

This was an opportunity for FPT to approach high-quality training resources which FPT has participated in to meet the HR need as well as contribute to the development of information technology resources in Vietnam.

FPT has been aimed to the goal of 100,000 people. Thus, between 2016 and 2020, FPT will need 50,000 employees more in various positions. In particular, FPT software, one of FPT's member companies, operating in the field of software export has the largest HR need. FPT Software currently has about 9,000 employees working in Vietnam and other countries maely the US, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Slovakia, France, Britain, Korea etc. It is expected that within 03 years, FPT Software will accept 20,000 people and 50% of them are graduate students of foreign languages and IT.
