Opening ceremony of FPT International Student Exchange Center – FISEC

Recently, the opening ceremony of FPT International Student Exchange under FPT University in Da Nang took place at the new office located inside FPT City. It was attended by FPT leaders, representatives from local government and regional partners.

It is expected that there will be 300-500 international students from Brunei, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, France, US and other countries to attend variety programs in Vietnam each year. By action of relocating to Da Nang – a youthful and dynamic city in Central Vietnam, FPT International Student Exchange Center (FISEC) is operating with the desire of turning this city to the center of education exports in the region.

 

 

In early August, the opening ceremony of FPT International Student Exchange Center (FISEC) was officially took place at the new office located inside FPT City – a green urban area of Da Nang city.

 

 

Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang city (center) came very earl to take a look around FISEC.

 

 

As part of their business trip to Vietnam, Dr. Tetsuro Seki Dean of Graduate School of Information and Communications and Prof. Masami Sano Faculty of Information and Communication, Bunkyo University, Japan was invited to represent as international partner of FPT University to join in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

 

 

By action of relocating to Da Nang – a youthful and dynamic city in Central Vietnam, FPT International Student Exchange Center (FISEC) is operating with the desire of turning this city to the center of education exports in the region.

 

 

The representatives of partners, FPT University and local government cut the ribbon. Formerly, FISEC was a department of FPT University Global Office that was responsible for developing the short-course programs for international and FPT University’s students. Since August 2016, the center has been detached and operated independently. The establishment of FISEC marked an unprecedented move of FPT Corporation during the implementation of its globalization strategy.

 

 

FISEC is responsible for developing international cooperation of FPT Education in the field of students exchange, enrollment and short-term courses for international students in Vietnam.

 

After the opening ceremony, the guests took a look at FISEC. The living and dining rooms are fully equipped with modern devices. In addition to lessons, international students also participate in outdoor activities such as visiting Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue or the Danang International summer camp.

 

 

 

In classrooms, there are lots of photos of international student delegations who studied and worked in Vietnam. In August, a delegation of Japanese students become the first “citizens” of the dormitory located in in FPT Smart Nano Flat – a high quality apartment complex that was designed, managed and placed in a modern urban area with comprehensive infrastructure.

 

 

The office of FISEC employees and lecturers is neatly arranged. The new location is near Ngu Hanh Son and Hoi An city, especially inside FPT City, next to FPT Complex.
