Opportunity to get scholarship up to USD 1,500 for foreign FPTers

New scholarship program is offered to support foreign employees who are currently working at FPT Corporation worth up to USD 1,500.

FPT University is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program aimed at supporting foreign employees who are currently working at FPT Corporation. The scholarship wishes to help FPT to be able to adapt the workload on IT industry and provide more sources of high- quality IT engineers for the corporation’s partners.

Up to 20 scholarships a year will be awarded to eligible FPT foreign employees/or family members (siblings, children, spouse) admitted into the program. Accordingly, students will have opportunities to receive USD 1,500 for Bachelor Degree (~30% first year tuition fee) and USD800 (~20% first year tuition fee) for Master Degree.

Programs offered in the scholarship:

• Bachelor in Software Engineering (The Total tuition fee after scholarship is 13,300 USD/ 3 years)
• Bachelor in Business Administration (The Total tuition fee after scholarship is 13,300 USD/ 3 years)
• Master of Software Engineering (The Total tuition fee after scholarship is 7,200 USD/ 1.5 years, only study on Tuesday, Friday evenings and Saturday).

All applications must be postmarked by the deadline below. Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

For Bachelor:

1. Summer 2018 (deadline to submit document is 10 April 2018)
2. Fall 2018 (deadline to submit document is 10 August 2018)
3. Spring 2019 (deadline to submit document is 10th December 2018)

For Master:

Fall 2018 (deadline to submit document is 5 August 2018)

Eligibility to apply:

Must be foreign employees who are currently working at FPT Corporation

Must have English proficiency. Students have no English certificate must sit for an English entrance exam held by FPT University.

• For Bachelor: TOEFL (PBT): 500/ TOEFL (IBT): 90-100/ C1/ CAE/ or TOEIC: 800/ IELTS:6.0 or Equivalent (no skills under 5.0)
• For Master: TOEFL (PBT): 500/ TOEFL (IBT): 65/ IELTS: 5.5 or Equivalent

  (Test score must be valid at the time of submission)

• Passport & passport photograph (3×4)
• Birth certificate
• Health certificate
• Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/ TOEFL) (or register to take English placement test of FPT University)
• Curriculum Vitae/ Resume

The award of scholarships will be informed a week after deadline of closing date of each semester.
