Pharmedic Digitizes Large-Scale Enterprise Management on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Implemented by FPT

Recently, Pharmedic Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company (Pharmedic) officially announced the successful go-live of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system built on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, integrated with “Made by FPT” technology solutions. The milestone marks a significant step in Pharmedic’s comprehensive digital transformation journey, while reaffirming FPT’s role and capabilities in deploying modern enterprise management platforms, particularly in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals. The project aligns with the orientation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on advancing science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

FPT officially and successfully implements the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud–based ERP system for Pharmedic.

The project was initiated on April 25, 2025, and officially went live on January 5, 2026, following more than seven months of implementation. On the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform, FPT deployed an integrated ERP system combined with the “Made by FPT” solution ecosystem for sales and human resource management, covering all of Pharmedic’s core operations.

Pharmedic’s decision to adopt SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud reflects the growing shift among manufacturing enterprises—particularly in the pharmaceutical sector—toward Cloud ERP as a new competitive foundation. Amid increasing requirements for standardized governance, data transparency, real-time operations, and cost optimization, Cloud ERP enables enterprises to significantly shorten deployment timelines, reduce upfront investment pressure, optimize costs compared to traditional ERP, and quickly put systems into operation to generate tangible value. Enterprises can manage operations and make decisions anytime, anywhere based on real-time data, reduce dependence on internal IT infrastructure, and proactively adapt to market fluctuations.

Specifically, Pharmedic and FPT collaborated to deploy core SAP S/4HANA modules tailored for the pharmaceutical industry, while tightly integrating the “Made by FPT” solution ecosystem to establish a data-driven enterprise resource management platform. The system connects end-to-end operations across finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing, quality management, warehousing and logistics, and human resources. In particular, FPT.FlatX, FPT’s order management and promotion solution, supports real-time sales management, discount and promotion control, distribution, and market monitoring, while FPT.iHRP serves as the backbone for modernizing human resources and payroll management.

The successful go-live of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP system integrated with “Made by FPT” solutions enables Pharmedic to establish a standardized, transparent, end-to-end management platform. Data is synchronized in real time on a single core system, helping reduce errors, enhance control efficiency, optimize operations, support timely decision-making by management, and better meet stringent pharmaceutical compliance requirements such as GMP and GDP.
