PPI CEO impressed with occupational skills of FPT Software programmers

CEO of Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) highly appreciated FPT Software during his visit to F-Town.

 

 

In the afternoon of September 9th, Mr. Lindsay Mark Lewis (left), CEO PPI, made a visit to FPT Software which was developing software for many large corporations in the U.S. The delegation also included Mr. Michael Mandell (third from right), Chief Economist cum writer of PPI’s annual report and Ms. Heather Grell (right), Senior Managerfor Government Affairs in Southeast, Apple Inc. They were welcomed by Nguyen Duc Quynh (second from left), Director of FPT Software HCMC and Le Thanh Nhan (second from right), Director of Z8 HCM.

 

 

Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh made an overview introduction of FPT Software and FPT including impressive milestones in recent years, major customers around the world and plans for growth from now until 2020. "With more than 8,000 people, FPT Software is on the way to reach 30,000 people and USD 1 billion in revenue by 2020 ", said Mr. Quynh.

 

 

Mr. Le Thanh Nhan, Director of Z8 HCM and the technology experts of Z8 Mobility had impressive presentations. According to him, FPT Software was Vietnam’s largest company offering Mobility services to large customers in the world, especially to DTV in the US. In terms of Mobility, Z8 and FPT Software were creating useful products and services applied to TV entertainment technology and used throughout the U.S via the customer - the world's largest satellite TV provider.

 

 

Mr. Lindsay Mark Lewis felt interested in and impressed with the development of FPT Software and technologies the company had been deploying in Mobility segment.

 

 

Besides the technologies, Mr. Nhan shared about FPT Software’s way to work with customers to get trust and create value.

 

 

Director of FPT Software led the delegation to visit F-Town. F-Town 2 just went into use by the end of 2014, besides F-Town Building 1. The new building has an area of ​​2305.6 m2 with a total floor area of ​​14,733 m2, accommodating about 2,000 people at the high-tech park, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City. F-Town 1 has an area of 20,000 m2. F-Town is designed as a modern campus to help the company reach about 3,400 people. 

 

 

The Director of HCM Z8 introduced the working area, programmers developing software and apps for U.S customers.

 

 

Mr. Michael Mandell (center) visited the working area of ​​Z8 and heard Mobility expert Ha Ngoc Vinh Du’s presentation about TV apps on the iPad.

 

"I'm really impressed with what FPT Software has done. Before coming here, I do not think a Vietnamese company can develop technologies and have such a strong growth. Though just meeting you, I can see that you are young, energetic, passionate and talented," stated CEO PPI.
