S.M.A.C Challenge 2015 makes tours to 9 universities in Sai Gon

The organizers will introduce S.M.A.C Challenge 2015 to young people with opportunities to access new technologies and win a prize of up to VND 250 million in a playground by FPT.
This is the first time S.M.A.C Challenge approach candidates in the South. In the morning of September 7, S.M.A.C Challenge 2015 is introduced to students of Ton Duc Thang University of Technology and then to FPT University students workings as interns at FPT Software HCM.

Then S.M.A.C Challenge 2015 will respectively arrive at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; University of Natural Sciences; University of Information Technology; University of Technology and Education; Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
In each location, the organizers will introduce criteria and requirements of the contest. Accordingly, in order to join the contest, besides the love of technology, young people need to have skills in programming for mobile and web services development. Each team should gather 3 to 5 members. SMAC Challenge 2015 allows contestants program on all platforms. Teams will be provided a cloud account to write their apps.
Themed "Digitizing voice", SMAC Challenge 2015 becomes the first contest in Vietnam to search and develop interactive voice response (IVR) ideas. The total prize is worth VND 250 million (including cash and in kind). In addition, the contest also gives contestants a lot of career opportunities in the field of new technologies and increases the chances that they will get funding from FPT Ventures for their projects.
By the end of August 31, nearly 100 students from universities and colleges across the country have registered for S.M.A.C Challenge 2015. There are many candidates from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Technology, Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Military Technical Academy, FPT University, University of Natural Sciences.
The registration deadline for S.M.A.C Challenge 2015 will be extended to September 25. Young people at the age of 18-30 years old with the love of technology nationwide can submit their ideas via smac.fpt.com.vn.
