SAP ERP arrives at Vemedim

On July 21, the opening ceremony of the SAP ERP project FPT IS ERP employed for Vemedim Corporation took place in the factory of Vemedim, Song Hau industrial park, Hau Giang.

Deputy General Director of FPT IS Nguyen Tuan Hung, Deputy General Director of FPT IS ERP Bui Trieu Anh Tuan, President cum CEO of Vemedim Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy CEO of Vemedim Luu Phuoc Hau, the project teams of the two parties, representatives of the management board of Song Hau Industrial Zone, Tax Department and local bank.

The SAP ERP project  includes 12 main modules: Warehouse Management (WM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Management (PP), Quality Management (QM), Management Accounting (CO), Financial Accounting (FI), Project System (PS), BusinessObjects (BOBJ), Human Resource – Payroll (HRPR), Plant Maintenance (PM) and consolidated report.

Vemedim expected that with the ERP deployment, the company would better control the limits of inventory, expenses, revenue, profit etc..

The project would be implemented within 16 months, divided into 2 phases and applied at   5 companies, 7 branches and one shop under Vemedim. Phase 1 will be deployed in 9 months and expected to officially operate in April 2016.

According to Deputy General Director of Vemedim Luu Phuoc Hau, the company chose FPT to deploy ERP SAP solution as FPT obtained a team of experienced experts. Besides, FPT had successfully implemented ERP for large enterprises in Vietnam in general and the pharmaceutical enterprises in particular such as Anova and Binh Dinh Pharmacy.

 “Vemedim expects that with the ERP deployment, the company will better control the limits of inventory, expenses, revenue, profit etc. Then Vemedim can reach a new height which was more professional and consistent with international standards”, said Mr. Hau.

Earlier, on March 25, FPT IS officially signed an agreement to deploy SAP ERP system for PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. It is expected to officially run operation in January 2016.
