FPT University students with international IT certification exempted from some certain subjects

On July 27, FPT University announced eight subjects students will be exempted from if they get the international certifications of Microsoft, Android ATC, and Oracle granted by FPT Nanoversity.

Accordingly, after the conversion, students can shorten time and accumulate credits to join master and PhD programs at FPT University.

FPT Nanoversity signed the cooperation agreements with Microsoft, Android ATC and Oracle to hold training courses and certification exams.

According to Decision 415 by Rector of FPT University, the students are allowed to convert the following subjects:

"In addition to a university degree, international certificates such as MCSD, ACAD and OCE java will become a competitive advantage in the labor market. FPT students’ certificates (granted by FPT Nanoversity) will be converted to points without any fee,” said Vu Hai Long, Director of FPT Nanoversity

Each training course lasts 6 months. Students can choose to study each module (one module/ month). Those passing the final exam will be given certificates by FPT Nanoversity.

Converted points will be equivalent to the percentage of completion. Students can choose to study the course and after successful completion, they take the exam to get certification of firms.

After successful completion, they take the exam to get international certification globally recognized. Moreover, students can accumulate credits to join IT masters and PhD programs at FPT University.

You can choose to study at FPT University in Hoa Lac or FPT – Nanoversity at No. 8 Ton That Thuyet Street.

Tuition for one subject is VND 2.559.000. Certification fee is USD 80 for MCSD, USD150 for ACAD and USD 200 for OCE java.
