Succeeding against Youtube, FPT Play becomes No. 1 free app for Android devices

According to the Google Play ranking, FPT Play by FPT Telecom has surpassed Youtube and Viva Video to become the most popular Android Media & Video app.

FPT Play is an app to watch TV online, playing television channels, football, movies, shows and videos with stable transmission and supporting multiple devices (smartphones, tablets, smart TVs an dcomputers).  

FPT Play was launched with the original goal to create a playground for young people via an app for watching videos. At first, FPT Play penetrated only niche markets with football programs. This quickly got positive results when the number of users was increased by 100% per month. Within a year, FPT Play had over 1 million users. This attractive growth helped FPT Telecom buy the Premier League's copyright. At present, the app has reached the milestone of over 6 million users.
