FPT in discussion with Leaders of Khanh Hoa Province about digital transformation cooperation

On September 18, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Khanh Hoa - chaired a meeting with FPT on the implementation of the cooperation agreement. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - FPT CEO - represented FPT's leadership team to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa introduced several highlighted achievements of FPT in recent years. At the same time, he updated the progress of the MoUs between the two sides (signed at the 2023 Conference on Announcement of Planning and Investment Promotion in Khanh Hoa province). Accordingly, FPT would team up with Khanh Hoa to implement end-to-end digital transformation, provide high-quality workforce training, invest in an educational urban area, accelerate technology, and produce software products.

Deploying the memorandum of cooperation, FPT Corporation has coordinated with provincial departments and agencies since April to implement main activities, such as developing a shared data warehouse, building an app linked to VNeID, updating the database of critical tasks on the socio-economic development as well as ongoing resolutions... Moreover, the CEO expressed his desire that the province would soon set up a task force to accelerate the digital transformation initiatives, meeting the set schedule.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan acknowledged FPT's efforts in realizing the terms of the MOU. The Provincial People's Committee chairman said that FPT Corporation's investment would contribute to breakthrough developments. Therefore, he requested the relevant local departments to coordinate with FPT to carry out the work items on schedule. The local departments and agencies must advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial People's Council for approval of construction investment proposals. The People's Committee of Nha Trang needed to speed up the site clearance for approved projects and the completion of resettlement areas for compensation. Of the same mind as FPT, The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Office to advise the Committee on establishing a task force to support FPT Corporation's projects.

Previously, in April, FPT Corporation had signed two memoranda of understanding for cooperation with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province, including an agreement for comprehensive digital transformation and high-quality workforce training; and an investment MoU for an urban education area, technology development, and software production.
