The Digital Race Season 4 finale: 2 international teams revealed
Last week, the International Preliminary Round of the 2019-2020 Digital Race was conducted in online mode, with the participation of 16 teams from 8 countries: England, France, Russia, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and India.

Last week, the International Preliminary Round of the 2019-2020 Digital Race was conducted in online mode, with the participation of 16 teams from 8 countries: England, France, Russia, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and India.
Having had rounds of image processing and fast programming, the two teams from International School of Information Processing Sciences (EISTI) (France) beat others and entered this year's finale.
The semi-finals of the 2019-2020 Digital Race is expected to take place by the end of March in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 16 teams from leading IT universities across the country. 8 strongest teams will compete with 2 international teams to find the champion.
As to promote automotive technology R&D in Vietnam following Industry 4.0 trends, FPT has organized a digital race with the theme “Programming self-driving vehicles" since 2016.
After three seasons, the Digital Race has attracted thousands of contestants from leading universities at home and abroad. Military Technical Academy was the winner in two seasons (the first one of 2016-2017 and the third one of 2018-2019), Vietnam National University, Hanoi - University of Technology was the winner of the second season in 2017 -2018.
This year, the competition also welcomes the Silver Sponsor – FUNiX and the Bronze sponsor – Elsa.
In Vietnam, FPT is one of few technology enterprises that have made long-term and persistent investments in technological playgrounds for young people namely "Vietnam Intelligence" (2000 - 2007), "Mobile Lab" (2008 - 2009), "Mobile Robot Challenge" (2013), "SMAC Challenge" (2014 - 2015) and "Digital Race" (from 2016 ).
