Thua Thien Hue Province Grants Approval for FPT's Investment in the Education Complex

During the 2024 Planning and Investment Promotion Conference for Thua Thien Hue province, which was attended by the Prime Minister and provincial leaders, FPT Corporation was bestowed with the investment registration certificate for its Education Complex Project.

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Senior Vice President of FPT, was entrusted with the Decision issued by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, sanctioning the investment to construct an educational complex project. As per the Decision, FPT Education Organization (FPT Education) has been designated as the investor for the multi-level high school and vocational education complex project situated in An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province. The registered capital for FPT Corporation's Education Complex project amounts to 432.66 billion VND.

This educational complex, overseen by FPT, encompasses schools at various levels: primary, secondary, and high school, along with vocational and practical college education. Construction is scheduled for 2024, with the anticipated operational commencement in the initial half of 2025.

Upon its completion, the project is poised to accommodate the educational requirements of approximately 20,000 students and generate around 600 employment opportunities for residents. Through this educational complex, FPT Education underscores its commitment to facilitating early career guidance and placement for students, as well as providing human resource training tailored to the specific needs of local businesses.

During the conference, Thua Thien Hue unveiled its Provincial Planning for 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2050, as sanctioned by the Prime Minister in Decision 1745/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2023. Additionally, the Decision approving the Urban Master Plan of Thua Thien Hue province until 2045, with a vision toward 2065, was announced.

During this momentous occasion, Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong of the Provincial People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province presented investment registration certificates to investors for 11 projects, amounting to a total registered capital of 9,134 billion VND. Furthermore, documents endorsing investment research policies were conferred to 10 projects, with a cumulative registered capital reaching 113,500 billion VND.

The Prime Minister underscored the significance of the convergence, encapsulating a "3 in 1" amalgamation of content, incorporating the Provincial Plan, the Thua Thien - Hue Urban Master Plan, and the province's investment promotion endeavors. This multifaceted event showcases the development vision of Thua Thien Hue, which is meticulously crafted in a strategic, layered, and long-term manner, with robust engagement from businesses and investors. The Prime Minister further affirmed the pivotal role of planning, emphasizing its capacity to generate significant opportunities and yield long-term impact.
