Hanoi, October 1, 2025 – Within the framework of the National Innovation Day 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT Corporation, shared his insights on the importance of innovation in building sustainable organizations and contributing to national development. At the event, FPT affirmed its pioneering role in innovation through a series of notable activities, including showcasing its innovation ecosystem, and signing strategic cooperation agreements with Konica Minolta, a leading Japanese corporation, and the National Innovation Center (NIC).
National Innovation Day 2025 (Innovate Viet Nam 2025) is the most significant annual event in science, technology, and innovation in Vietnam, co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and organized by the NIC. The event aligns with the Politburo’s directive on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT Corporation: Innovation as the Lifeblood for Growth
Speaking at the National Innovation Policy Forum – part of the National Innovation Day 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa emphasized: “Innovation is not bound by regulations or financial rules — it is, in essence, the soul of development and the most valuable intangible asset of any organization.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT Corporation – shares about the importance of innovation in building sustainable organizations and contributing to national development.
Throughout 37 years of growth, FPT has identified innovation as a core value, nurturing it as a sustainable cultural foundation beginning with the smallest of daily practices. In 2025, over 3,000 initiatives from 84,000 FPT employees across 30 countries helped the corporation save nearly VND 865 billion in operational costs, with many ideas coming from the operations, product design, and sales teams.
From a strategic perspective, Mr. Khoa stressed that innovation serves as a “continuous current” running through four major resolutions of the Central Committee:
Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new context; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private sector development; and Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on reforming lawmaking and law enforcement.
To turn innovation from slogans into tangible practice, Mr. Khoa proposed fostering legal frameworks for emerging sectors such as high technology, logistics, and AI; integrating innovation flexibly into policies; developing local technology strategy maps; and strengthening strategic linkages between large and small enterprises within ecosystems.
He also urged Vietnamese businesses to enhance their technology absorption capacity, proactively embrace high-quality international cooperation, and shift from “low-cost outsourcing” to technology transfer alliances.
Concluding his speech, Mr. Khoa noted: “Vietnam is standing at a unique opportunity to redefine its role in the global innovation value chain. With young human resources, an open market, and growing technological capacity, if we act with determination, mechanism, and a relentless spirit of innovation, we can absolutely become the innovation and technology hub of Asia.”FPT reaffirmed its commitment to accompanying the Government and the business community in developing the national innovation ecosystem - through training young talent, sharing expertise with SMEs, investing in R&D centers, and leading strategic technology projects.
A Comprehensive Innovation Technology Ecosystem
At National Innovation Day 2025, FPT showcased a wide range of platforms, solutions, products, and services within its Made by FPT ecosystem, widely applied across key sectors such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cultural preservation, semiconductors, and high-tech workforce training. This ecosystem reflects FPT’s technological mastery, creative capacity, and aspiration to drive Vietnam’s sustainable development.
Among them, FPT Cloud – a next-generation cloud platform meeting international standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27017:27013) – provides over 80 services from infrastructure to applications, serving more than 3,000 domestic and international enterprises.
FPT AI Agents – an advanced AI platform integrating Agentic AI, Generative AI, and multimodal models, enabling deployment of multilingual AI agents (Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Indonesian). These solutions help enterprises enhance productivity, optimize operations, and improve customer experience.
