FPT University Announces Admission Scores Based on 2025 National High School Graduation Exam Results

FPT University (FPTU) has officially announced the admission scores for the 2025 regular undergraduate program based on the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam. The required admission scores under the flexible subject combination system are 18.5 and 17 points for first-generation students.

Accordingly, candidates taking the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam must achieve a total score of Mathematics + any two subjects + priority points (as regulated) of at least 18.5 points. Specifically, for first-generation students - defined as those who are the first in their family (including parents or guardians and all siblings) to attend university -athe required score is 17 points. This standard applies to all majors and campuses of FPT University nationwide for the 2025 admission cycle.

In addition to admissions based on the National High School Graduation Exam results and direct admission as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training, FPT University also applies several other flexible admission methods.

Specifically, under the high school transcript evaluation method, candidates must be ranked in the Top 50 (or Top 55 for first-generation students) of SchoolRank (ranking available at https://schoolrank.fpt.edu.vn) and must simultaneously achieve a total score of Mathematics + two optional subjects (chosen from: Literature, Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic & Law Education, Informatics, or Technology) in the second semester of Grade 12 of 21 points or higher.

For the competency assessment test method, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 78 in the Vietnam National University Hanoi test or 653 in the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City test.

Additionally, FPT University also accepts other admission methods for candidates who: graduated from an overseas high school program; hold international certificates (APTECH HDSE/ADSE, ARENA ADIM, SKILLKING, JETKING...); graduated from linked programs such as BTEC HND, Melbourne Polytechnic, FUNiX, or FPT Polytechnic; or graduated from high schools under the FPT Education Organization. These candidates are considered eligible under the same entry requirements as the 2025 high school transcript evaluation method.

To be officially admitted, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria under the above-mentioned methods must register “FPT” as their desired choice on the Ministry of Education and Training’s centralized admission system from July 16, 2025, to 5:00 PM, July 28, 2025.
