On the morning of May 22, the Indian software billionaire extended his visit at FPT by meeting with students from Hope School. He expressed his admiration for the project's significance and model as well as his desire to replicate it in India.

Mr. Narayana Murthy commenced his agenda in Da Nang City with a visit to Hope School, which serves as a refuge for children who lost their parents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The school grounds echoed with applause as Mr. Murthy and his entourage arrived. Despite their shyness, the students greeted the Indian billionaire with handshakes.

During his visit, Mr. Murthy engaged in discussions with the school's Board members and students. After Director Hoang Quoc Quyen introduced the Hope School project, Mr. Murthy expressed his deep admiration for the impactful and humanitarian initiative. He highlighted FPT's commitment to community responsibility and expressed his gratitude for the privilege and honor of meeting the children here.

In a heartfelt gesture toward Mr. Murthy, the children of Hope School presented him with a unique handmade gift. Crafted by their own hands, the children depicted his portrait on a seashell. Quynh Anh, a young girl and the creator of the gift, shared that she and her friends found the seashell on Da Nang beach and spent two days meticulously crafting the portrait. The students created the artwork using their lunch breaks and evenings after school.

The Indian software billionaire dedicated time to exploring various areas of the school, including the garden, kitchen, bedrooms, and classrooms. He commended the exceptional standards of cleanliness and tidiness maintained by the students, remarking that the school was "absolutely impressive". During his visit to the radio room, Mr. Murthy shared inspiring words, delivering a message of positivity to the children. His heartfelt broadcast, transmitted through loudspeakers across the school, recounted his humble beginnings. "My parents instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, and determination, which have guided me throughout my life. Your efforts here at FPT resonate deeply with these principles. FPT is instilling trust and hope in children who have lost their parents to the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby nurturing them into invaluable assets for your country. Among these students, some will emerge as scientists, others as successful entrepreneurs, teachers, or scholars. This ensures a promising future for Vietnam, safeguarding the prosperity of the next generation", he said on the radio.

He also conveyed a message to the students: "By showcasing the formidable combination of unwavering desire, courage, diligent work ethic, discipline, and self-reliance, you assert your identity to the world. Following in the footsteps of your ancestors, who have each made sacrifices in their respective times, you are destined to grow stronger and more accomplished with each endeavor, instilling greater confidence and determination".

Following his visit to Hope School, Mr. Narayana Murthy proceeded to the FPT Software Da Nang headquarters located at the F-Complex building in Hoa Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son district. Engaging with FPT technology engineers, he delivered an inspiring address. Mr. Murthy expressed astonishment at the scale of the F-Complex building, accommodating up to 10,000 technology engineers. He lauded FPT's remarkable property assets and the Corporation's continuous growth and expansion. Concluding the visit, Mr. Murthy and the delegation planted a commemorative tree at the F-Complex campus. The next day, on May 23, Mr. Narayana Murthy will visit the F-Town campus in Ho Chi Minh City to meet with the staff.
