Vietnam’s first interactive TV show on air

As a part of the series of activities to celebrate 20th anniversary of FPT Telecom, FPT Television has officially run "Opening cash box" - the first interactive TV show in Vietnam for customers across the country since December 1st, 2016.

"Opening cash box" is the first and only interactive TV show on an IPTV platform in Vietnam, favoring breakthrough development of FPT television, providing moments of amusement. The IPTV service is becoming increasingly popular in the developed countries in order to take advantage of internet combined with TV to bring about the most interesting programs and useful features in vivid HD surround sound with a fast and stable connection.

“Opening cash box” is developed by the product development and production team of FPT Television based on Vietnamese users’ entertainment needs, interests and experiences. Besides, it is hosted by Dinh Tien Dung, who is well-known as "Professor Xoay" in the comedy TV show “Hỏi Xoáy đáp Xoay”. He is the writer of several popular comedy shows such as Gặp nhau cuối tuần, Gặp nhau cuối năm etc. At present, as Creative Director of FPT Television, he developed the program.

“Opening cash box” is on air at 20:00 on Thursday every week on FPT Television.

The show will be broadcasted live on FPT Television. Audiences will answer questions on culture, entertainment, eating and drinking, tourism and society with only “OK” button on their remote control. They must correctly answer all of 30 questions as quickly as possible within 40 minutes.

Attendants will have opportunities to win a lot of extremely attractive prizes each week.  Those who correctly answer all of 30 questions in the shortest possible time will win a special reward worth VND 10 million besides nine consolation prizes, each worth VND 1 million and three lucky prizes, each worth VND 1 million picked up by MC.

“Opening cash box” is on air at 20:00 on Thursday every week on FPT Television. FPT television’s customers choose Menu/App/ Opening cash box and follow the instructions to participate in the program.
