Vietnam Cultivar Corporation enhances corporate governance through Made - by - FPT technology solutions

Vietnam Seeds Corporation (VINASEED) and FPT Information System Company (FPT IS - A subsidiary of FPT Corporation) recently announced the official start of a project to execute a suite of enterprise digital transformation solutions (SPRO, CRM, DMS). This is a significant collaboration initiative between FPT IS and the Agriculture Group, with the most significant scale and market share in the Vietnamese seed sector. The initiative is a critical component of VINASEED's roadmap toward digital transformation of corporate governance, as it provides "leverage" to assist the company in improving its competitiveness and growing stronger.

As a result of the collaboration with FPT IS, VINASEED is implementing a synchronous digital transformation project using three sets of FPT IS solutions. These include the SPRO solution for process digitization and automatic assignment, the CRM customer relationship management solution, and the DMS distribution channel management solution. These are all solutions that FPT IS has researched and created in the spirit of ‘Made in Vietnam’ and have been successfully implemented in numerous significant businesses. VINASEED's orientation through the transfer of FPT IS digital solutions will contribute to a comprehensive improvement of the customer experience, the creation of new business opportunities, the optimization of distribution channels based on real-time information, the improvement of work efficiency, the automation of processes, and the establishment of paperless offices, thereby saving time and optimizing resources. 

Within eight months, the project was completed at VINASEED Group and its five-member companies, namely Southern Seed Joint Stock Company and Quang Nam Central Seed Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Rice Company Limited, Ha Tay Seed Joint Stock Company, and Ha Nam Hi-Tech Agriculture Development and Investment Joint Stock Company. 

With a 21% market share of national plant types, VINASEED significantly contributes to Vietnam's agricultural business. In 2021, the Group achieved a 16.3 percent growth rate over the same time, ranking among the TOP 50 listed firms in Vietnam with the most competitiveness, earning the President's First-class Labor Medal. VINASEED innovates the management model in the direction of IT application in the digital transformation strategy for the period 2022-2023, with the goal of comprehensive innovation across all aspects of operations, from business model to approach and service, increase job performance, improve organizational coordination, optimize human resource, and decrease operational expenses, consequently increasing competitiveness and establishing a new work culture in the business.

Additionally, VINASEED has gradually implemented digital transformation, with financial management as the central system, by modernizing financial management software with three modules: accounting and finance, sales, and inventory management.
