The Final Performance of the "Vietnam and Japan Illuminate Hope Together" Series in 2023

The "We Love Music" program has succeeded in using music to spread love and nurture hope. After experiencing symphonic music, various exotic musical instruments, and emotional performances by the members of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO), the Hope School's students ("Hopers") gained new knowledge about musical instruments and began their passions for music.

The final stage of the "We Love Music" program - sponsored by the Sompo Fund in collaboration with VNSO - in 2023 took place in the cool autumn weather of Da Nang. The lingering and gentle music compositions, such as "Mid-Day Dreamer" ("Giấc mơ trưa"), "Yellow flowers on green grass" ("Tôi thấy hoa vàng trên cỏ xanh"), and Ave Maria immersed the audience in unforgettable melodies. In particular, the performance led by the talented Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, with the participation of the VNSO and lovely vocals of the Hope School's students in the charming song "Drum of Rice," was incredibly noteworthy.

"The concerts of the 'We Love Music Program' have brought us to the pinnacle of music. I have felt the love in every sophisticated melody, and I hope to have more opportunities to enjoy beautiful pieces from the VNSO's musicians. I want to express my gratitude to all the artists for always giving us so much love," said a student.

Starting from spring, when the drizzles flutter, "We Love Music" came to the students with fresh and lively rhythms to welcome the early months of the year. Stepping into summer with an energetic orchestral performance brought a festive atmosphere to celebrate International Children's Day on June 1. And finally, the "We Love Music" program ended vibrantly in the fall of 2023 with a successful and cozy performance on the evening of October 1.

Take a rest through the winter of 2023, and the students will continue to enjoy emotional melodies or dance to the joyful tunes of the musicians in the VNSO with the sponsorship of the Sompo Fund on the rainy spring days of 2024.
