FPT proposed digital transformation and education advancement initiatives in Thai Nguyen

The leadership of Thai Nguyen province recently sat down with top executives of FPT Corporation to explore potential collaborations in digital transformation and education development.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province – emphasized that Thai Nguyen looks to Resolution 57-NQ/TW as a compass, embracing digital transformation and breakthrough technologies as game-changers for every aspect of life.

With Thai Nguyen University welcoming 81,000 new students each year — the highest intake nationwide — provincial leaders are keen on having FPT develop AI-driven solutions to bolster and elevate the skills of the province’s young workforce. They also hope the Corporation will conduct thorough surveys and feasibility studies for building a local data center.

Furthermore, the provincial leaders are counting on FPT to help drive the growth of the digital economy, fundamentally reshaping how production forces and methods work together, and leveraging this transformation to overhaul digital governance and foster a thriving digital society.

In recent times, Thai Nguyen has poured investment into setting up a cutting-edge digital film studio, aiming to lay the groundwork for a regional hub in television and film production — a springboard for local tourism anchored in the province's unique identity. The provincial authorities are looking for FPT's partnership and backing to turn Thai Nguyen into a powerhouse for digital graphics, cinema, and digital arts. In high-tech agriculture, the province is eager for FPT's technological expertise to be brought to bear on boosting agricultural productivity and enhancing the market value of local produce.

Responding to Thai Nguyen’s leadership, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT – shared that for FPT, Resolution 57-NQ/TW serves as a rallying cry for businesses to jump on board the great wave of transformation. He laid out FPT’s vision for partnering with Thai Nguyen to bring the resolution to life, standing shoulder to shoulder as pioneers in this digital era.

On the education front, FPT aspires to build a seamless educational ecosystem that spans from general schooling to hands-on vocational training. The Corporation is set on delivering advanced curricula that weave in STEM and robotics education starting from middle school so that in 5 to 10 years, Thai Nguyen will boast a high-caliber workforce — a solid foundation for its sustainable growth.
