According to Anphabe's release on December 22, FPT Corporation ranked #1 Best Place to Work in the IT/Software & Applications/E-commerce industry for the second consecutive year, while also ranking among the world's Top 50 Attractive Employers. This achievement propels FPT up seven rankings from 2020, to #8 in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam in 2021.
The Vietnam Best Work Place survey by Anphabe, conducted under the auspices of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and certified by Intage, is the most credible employer's attractiveness evaluation program. In this eighth season, this program draws a sizable response from both workers and corporations. A total of 65,213 employees voted for their ideal and prioritized joining employers based on various criteria, while 595 top corporations across 20 industries quantified the attractiveness of their employer brand.
Mr. Chu Quang Huy, FPT's Chief Human Resources Officer, represented the Company to receive the #1 Best Workplace award in the Information Technology/Software & Applications/E-Commerce Industry.
This title recognizes FPT's significant and influential commitment in developing a work environment and remuneration policies that are responsive to employee demands.
FPT's workforce will grow by 22.8 percent to approximately 50,000 personnel in 2021. This development is directly related to the group's business performance, as profits and sales in the technology and telecommunications sectors continue to grow by double digits, enabling FPT to exceed its profit target for 2021 after only ten months. Apart from corporate development, FPT prioritizes human resource development, despite the challenges and oscillations brought about by the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to Mr. Chu Quang Huy, Chief Human Resources Officer at FPT, the average age of FPT employees is currently 29. Around 22% of FPT personnel are Gen Z born between 1995 and 1996. "With a workforce of nearly 50,000 and an annual growth rate in the double digits, the need to identify and develop young talent and potential managers is enormous." He mentioned, FPT's strength was the abundance of new, intriguing, and demanding problems enabling young people to express themselves freely.
Along with developing and nurturing talent, FPT prioritizes employee well-being by cultivating a young, dynamic, creative, and safe work environment, particularly in light of Covid-19 complex developments. FPT has issued 12 directives, two policies to assist employees impacted by Covid-19, and three procedures to maintain workplace safety since 2021.
The preceding actions are intended to assist workers affected by the epidemic, ranging from employees who are positive for Covid-19 (F0), F1 employees who are placed in concentrated isolation, to employees who are experiencing difficulties as a result of the epidemic. Employees who work on the spot or an employee's family member who is positive for Covid-19 (F0), are immediately supported by the Company with money and/or in kind to stabilize their lives. Additionally, FPT was one of the first organizations to complete the vaccine campaign, providing the highest level of employee safety.
FPT also swiftly created honor and award programs to recognize and encourage employees' contributions in the context of the pandemic. FPT established the "Orange shirt soldier" program to demonstrate the F people's spirit on the frontlines throughout the three most challenging months of the pandemic. The program recognized 763 collectives and individuals affiliated with FPT units and branches throughout Vietnam and the world.
Additionally, FPT distributed around VND 50 billion in bonuses in 2021 to recognize personnel contributions. FPT understands better than anyone else that employees are the source of strength that propels businesses to new heights and strategic goals.
FPT will focus on renewing compensation policies, enhancing the employee experience, putting employees first, comprehensively caring for employees and their families, developing hunting and development programs to create a team of young managers and leaders who is capable of integrating technology into the human resource management system in the coming years.
FPT has topped the list of Best Places to Work in Vietnam in the IT/Software & Applications/E-Commerce area for the second consecutive year. This is a tribute to the premier technological corporation in Vietnam's efforts to create an ideal work environment nurture and develop Vietnamese human resources to international standards.
