VINASA Chairman: "Hue is at the forefront of Data C and Regional Connectivity for Digital Transformation"

As part of Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) and CEO of FPT Corporation, underscored: "Thua Thien Hue is spearheading the nation's digital transformation efforts. The provincial leadership exhibits significant ambition, foreseeing technology as a catalyst for the populace's well-being."

In tandem with the event, FPT Education System (FPT Education) received investment certification to establish an educational complex in Thua Thien Hue. Furthermore, FPT Corporation introduced an end-to-end digital transformation ecosystem tailored for Hue. Besides, experts from FPT Information System Company (FPT IS) delved into local trends in digital data exploitation and application.

Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023 is scheduled for December 14 and 15, 2023, under the theme "Creating Digital Data - Promoting Regional Connectivity." During the inaugural address, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA and CEO of FPT Corporation, conveyed that Thua Thien Hue holds a prominent position as the leading locality in the country regarding digital transformation. The provincial leadership demonstrates significant ambition, aspiring for Hue to evolve into a stronghold for information technology businesses, thereby contributing to the creation of value within the region and leveraging technology to enhance the overall well-being of the populace.

As articulated by Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, the provincial leaders have chosen the theme "Creating Digital Data - Promoting Regional Connectivity," marking a pioneering initiative. The pursuit of such pioneering endeavors is inevitably fraught with challenges. Nonetheless, the Chairman of VINASA expressed confidence that Thua Thien Hue, having been actively engaged in comprehensive and extensive digital transformation since 2018, is the nation's vanguard province. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa is optimistic that Hue will successfully surmount challenges and attain its objectives. On behalf of VINASA, he has pledged unwavering collaboration with Hue to transform challenges into opportunities during the course of digital transformation.

"In the realm of data infrastructure, we necessitate accurate, comprehensive, pristine, and real-time data in alignment with the requisites of Project 06. Addressing regional connectivity presents an immensely challenging landscape in data connection. In the future, we envisage testing data interconnection with neighboring provinces of Hue, particularly in transportation and healthcare. In the epoch of data and artificial intelligence, charting the correct trajectory will furnish Hue's government, businesses, and residents with novel experiences. Civil servants in Hue currently benefit from virtual assistants, enhancing operational efficiency and time savings. The integration of data and artificial intelligence is poised to address specific challenges in Hue," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa.

FPT Education Ventures into Constructing an Educational Complex in Thua Thien Hue

During the Hue Digital Transformation Week, Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, the Principal of FPT University, acted on behalf of FPT to accept the certificate from the Provincial People's Committee, formalizing FPT Education's venture into erecting an educational complex with a capacity for nearly 20,000 learners.

Per the certificate, FPT Education has been sanctioned as the investor for the multi-tiered high school and vocational education complex situated in the An Van Duong new urban area, Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy town, Hue province. This educational complex, overseen by FPT Edu, encompasses schools at various levels: primary, secondary, and high school, along with vocational and practical college education. Construction is scheduled for 2024, with the anticipated operational commencement in the initial half of 2025.

Once completed, the project can meet the learning needs of about 20,000 students and create about 600 jobs for local personnel. With this educational complex, FPT Education shows its determination to contribute to early career orientation and human resource training associated with the actual needs of local businesses. FPT Education is present in more than 20 provinces and cities nationwide, actively contributing to training and developing the Vietnamese labor force.

A comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem - Digital Society, Digital Education, and Digital Tourism

During Hue Digital Transformation Week, FPT unveils a comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem encompassing digital society, digital education, and digital tourism. This extensive offering introduces pioneering products, services, and solutions aimed at enhancing the quality of life and advancing smart urban development. Key solutions include the C06 project solution set (featuring IDCheck, akaCam, FPT Camera, akaVerse), experiential education models, and utility products such as FPT Play and FPT Smarthome.

FPT representative introduced the "Made by FPT"comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem.

In support of digital government development, FPT introduced the C06 project model system covering administrative procedures, digital citizenship, digital economic development, and data digitization. This system comprises the Anti-counterfeit and digital authentication solution FPT.IDCheck; information system solutions for the leadership of the Local Party Committees; and the AI Camera solution for security monitoring.

In pursuit of a Smart City initiative, FPT presented the akaVerse solution, a platform for virtual tour spaces and digital replicas designed for tourism, enhancing the visitor experience in Hue.

To foster Digital Education in Hue, FPT proposed a smart education complex model that provides a contemporary learning environment, creative subjects, and immersive experiences tailored to local students.

Enabling a digital lifestyle, FPT unveils product lines designed to elevate the quality of life for households. This includes offerings in smart homes, innovative devices, pharmacy systems that cater to customers in novel styles, and entertainment services.

During the discussion session, Mr. Phan Thanh Son, Business Development Director at FPT Information System Company, presented "AI: Opportunities, Challenges, and Trends in Digital Data Exploitation."

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Son, digital transformation is entering a new phase marked by fresh trends, challenges, and opportunities. AI stands out as a crucial technology, pivotal in converting data into value across various societal and economic sectors, spanning local, national, regional, and global levels.

Recent trends like GenAI are instilling trust and demonstrating practical applications of AI in daily life, the economy, and social activities.
