Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed Decision No. 261/QD-TTg dated March 19, 2023, recognizing FPT Complex as a centralized information technology (IT) park. Accordingly, from March 19, 2023, the Centralized IT Park - FPT Complex operates according to the functions and tasks specified in Article 4 of Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP dated November 8, 2013, of the Government on regulations on centralized IT zones. It means the Complex is eligible for preferential policies specified in Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP and other preferential treatment applied for centralized IT zones as prescribed by law.

Currently, FPT Complex has nearly 6,000 software employees. It is expected that FPT Complex will complete phase three by 2024, developing its seating capacity for 10,000 employees.

This is one of the first three construction projects in Vietnam designed according to The National Technical Regulation on energy efficiency in buildings. The construction materials are highly environmentally friendly and produced with advanced technologies, which helps save at least 20% in energy, water, and materials compared to other typical buildings.

Construction investment in software-training campuses and large resource centers in Vietnam and globally is one of the strategic directions of FPT Corporation to create a growth engine in the long term. It has also constantly been a push elevating Vietnamese brainpower on the global tech map.

Da Nang city has favorable conditions in terms of policies, workforce, location, and urban infrastructure to be able to break through to conquer digital economic goals by 2025, said FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh. He added that the locality might become an intellectual hub of the Central region and "turn into a dragon" like what Singapore had done. One of the strategic spearheads is making Da Nang a start-up center for developing emerging technologies. As a global tech giant with a continuous contribution to Da Nang for nearly 20 years, FPT is willing to pave the way for local start-ups to help Da Nang become the center for technology creation in the future.

The Chairman also expected that FPT Complex would grow to be one of the most vital and staffed offices of the Corporation, connecting Da Nang to other regional countries and the whole world.

FPT's ceaseless efforts have resulted in earnings accounting for 20% of the total IT revenue of Da Nang. In addition, the Corporation has achieved a high growth milestone of over 20% per year in software export, creating nearly 6,000 jobs and drawing a high-quality labor force from surrounding places to Da Nang.

In the field of education and training, FPT has so far provided training services for more than 17,500 students, accelerating the skilled workforce for Da Nang.
