FPT Collaborates with Ba Huan to Accelerate Digital Transformation for the Vietnamese Agricultural Sector

Ho Chi Minh City, September 23, 2022, FPT Corporation and Ba Huan Joint Stock Company kicked off their comprehensive cooperation in digital transformation, helping Ba Huan realize its vision of becoming a high-tech and sustainable firm. Ba Huan embarked on the cooperation with FPT to create a technology "kickback."

According to the cooperation agreement, FPT – the digital transformation pioneer – will advise Ba Huan – the leading company in animal husbandry in Vietnam – to set up suitable digital solutions for its operations: animal husbandry, production, and supply. Besides, FPT will help Ba Huan develop and digitalize products, manage the automated production and resources, and collect a database system...

As a first step, the two parties will implement the SAP ERP S/4HANA Enterprise Resource Management System project. Specifically, FPT accompanies Ba Huan to digitalize the operational systems for the 3F (Feed – Farm – Food) animal husbandry production line using SAP S/4 HANA and Made-by-FPT solutions.

Ms. Pham Thi Huan - Chairperson of Ba Huan - affirmed that the cooperation between the two sides was a turning point for Ba Huan in the journey of switching from a traditional agricultural company to a digital agricultural enterprise, reconfirming the customer-centric philosophy of Ba Huan. The cooperation will help Ba Huan comprehensively transform, streamline the operating system, and let the corporate governance be more precise. In addition, the digital transformation on the SAP S/4HANA platform will enable Ba Huyen to jump into a new growth stage with the vision of becoming the national leading food brand, thereby pioneering the high-tech agricultural and farming industry. Ms.Huan hoped the determination of transformation would be the "golden laying hens" of the company, providing consumers with "golden" products.

She added that the system helps Ba Huan manage the husbandry production lines from seed farms, feed factories, and egg farms to processing factories and product distribution. FPT will build an interactive portal with sales agents to make it more convenient for consumers. FPT's system helps Ba Huan enhance management and business capacity throughout the chain, reducing operating costs and prices to the lowest to serve Vietnamese consumers.
