FPT IS deployed ERP for 19 members of Med Group

"SAP ERP Corporate Governance for Med Group’s members" was officially launched in the first half of January 2021.

This project is a part of Med Group's comprehensive digital transformation process for all of their 19 member units. It holds the target of upgrading governance capability and offering health care for people in 63 provinces across the country by the end of 2022.

Med Group’s General Director - Mr. Nguyen Tri Anh acknowledged and appreciated the initial achievements of the ERP system at Medlatec and kept his high hope for FPT IS to continue to bring high-quality and professional human resources to support the ERP Project in all of their units. The completion of ERP is considered as a significant role in promoting research and consulting on specialized information technology projects in the public Health sector.

Representative of FPT IS (a member unit of FPT Corporation), General Director - Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh had shown commitment to accompany Med Group in the transformation and improving digital capacity journey. The SAP ERP system can enable FPT IS to have a firm foundation to massly expand the scale, improve service quality and achieve outstanding growth in the upcoming future. According to the planned vision, the project will be completed and operate by January 2022.

In terms of ERP, FPT IS is currently the most experienced, specifically for ERP solutions for Vietnamese enterprises, and has successfully deployed ERP for hundreds of enterprises over the years.

Back in August 2020, Med Group’s unit - Medlatec Hospital had officially launched the new corporate governance after 6 months of implementation and installation. With the fact that FPT continues to be a close companion with Med Group in this launch has strengthened the trust as well as granting a new step in the strategic cooperation between the two Groups.

Overall, SAP ERP is operated with important modules in business management such as: financial accounting, management accounting, purchase & inventory management; Asset management and maintenance; Mobile application. In addition, Smart Management Reporting System (BI) dedicated for the Management Board and integration of specific software systems available at the enterprise are Hospital Management Software (HIS), Test Results Management (LIS), Sales Management (POS) and Electronic Invoice.
