FPT IS signed a 5,1 billion VND contract with NPCETC

A contract had just been signed between FPT Information Systems (FPT IS – a subsidiary of the FPT Corporation) LLC and the Northern Power Corporation’s Electrical Testing Company (NPCETC) LLC, for the “Development of a database management program for an 110kV power grid”, thus opening up more opportunities to form a strong partnership with the electrical industry in the near future.

This project is a part of NPCETC’s digital transformation process, aimed at significantly boosting their growth in the 4.0 era, and paving the way for them to become the Digital Testing Company.

In the past couple of years, NPCETC had been the technical division of the Northern Power Corporation, and their spearhead in experimentation and application of technological science’s innovations in their businesses and productions.

Prior to that, FPT had also signed many digital transformation contracts with the power industry, such as the “Process digitalization and automated task assignment based on the FPT SPro solution”, “Development of a software to facilitate the internal governance of power grids” for EVN HANOI, and a Digital Transformation consultation contract with EVN HCM.

“Our two projects partnered with EVN HANOI are proof of FPT IS’s reliability and expertise in accompanying the electrical industry on their digital transformations, creating new opportunities for us to to utilize high-tech IT solutions to digitize our administrational and operational activities, not just at EVN HANOI, but the whole of EVN itself”, said Mr Nguyen Tien Dung – Vice President of FPT IS’ Corporate Strategic Clients department.
