On December 16 in Japan, as part of the Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum 2023 hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, JETRO, and the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the signing ceremony for 30 cooperation agreements. These agreements involve ministries, branches, localities, agencies, and businesses from both countries, spanning various sectors such as infrastructure development for industrial parks, urban areas, commercial centers, green hydrogen production, battery manufacturing, energy, finance, digital transformation, and workforce training.

In particular, FPT has secured two collaboration agreements with prominent Japanese enterprises: Yamato Holdings, a major Japanese enterprise engaging in the 'Road Freight Transportation' sector, and TradeWaltz, a company that owns a leading trade information collaboration platform in Japan.

Under the agreement with Yamato Holdings, FPT will leverage cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Cloud, Big Data, Automation, and IoT to support the leading Japanese logistics enterprise in advancing the digital transformation of its customers. The collaboration aims to enhance the flexibility and development of Yamato Holdings' ecology in all scenarios. Drawing on Yamato Holdings' extensive 100 years of logistics experience, both parties will jointly research and implement solutions to improve the transportation system in Vietnam.

In the case of TradeWaltz, both parties will integrate TradeFlat - a digital financial ecosystem developed by FPT - with TradeWaltz, Japan's leading trade information collaboration platform. This integration aims to facilitate a comprehensive digital transformation of trade processes for countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The two entities plan to explore the integration of the two platforms through API links, connecting relevant trade and service areas to manage cross-border trade and trade finance transactions. Additionally, they will engage in research and strategic planning for the Vietnamese market and form alliance partnerships with trade platforms in the Asia-Pacific region. This marks a significant milestone as the first instance of a "Make in Vietnam" technology solution being integrated into an international platform regarding trade activities between Vietnam and Japan.
